What is your body telling you?
Our body, our physical body, is one of the most brilliant tools we will ever own. Our bodies give us clues. Our bodies take care of us. When you get sick that is your body taking care of you. It’s sending you a message.
Sometimes we get sick when we’re moving up a level in life, and we need to purge something old out of our system. Sometimes we get sick because our body is giving us boundaries that we haven’t set for ourselves. For example, when I was in my 20s I developed a nodule in my thyroid. For those of you who know about thyroid disease, it’s very hard to heal that, usually you go on medication for life. But I refused to go on medication for life. I don’t condemn people who do, but, for me, I knew there was something deeper. The nodule eventually turned into hyperthyroidism, and I studied the work of Louise Hay. She’s a modern day metaphysical healer. Her work is congruent with metaphysical healing all over the world. In her findings thyroidism, hyperthyroidism especially, has to do with putting other people’s needs ahead of your own, feeling left out, and that is exactly what was going on in my life at that time, so I made some changes. I used Eastern and Western medicine, and I made changes to my life and got myself in a different situation. I did not put people in front of me the way I had been, and I got myself out of a situation where I was being ignored. My thyroidism cleared up & I’m not on medication.
These kind of things are not only possible, but they’re actually fun to do. When you really get into healing, it’s multi-faceted and we have the power to heal ourselves. I did the same thing with migraines. I had migraines. My mother had migraines. Her mother had migraines. I was told migraines are hereditary. There was nothing I could do to get rid of them. But I got rid of them because I refused to take that answer, “This is the way it is.” Nothing EVER is the way it is. Things changes every single moment.
When something happens to your body. When it tells you something it means it means it’s out of balance in some way or it’s purging something, because a happy body is a balanced body and a body you don’t even notice that much, because it’s balanced and functioning well. But when something happens, in your body, that is a weakness or an illness see if you can dig a little deeper. Look at Louise Hay’s work. Think about what’s going on in your life. Where are you not being truthful? Where are you growing? What do you need to get out of your system?
The body is the most ancient, wisest, tool you have at your disposal. It’s here to help you. It is your friend and your ally.
How is your body right now? What is the current state of your body? Do you notice it? Are you having any pains? Are you having any kind of symptoms? And if so, you CAN heal them. That is the opportunity that is being presented to you, from a deep, deep level, not just filling your medicine cabinet with medicine, really healing it from the inside out, and that is my wish for you.
