Do you pick up lucky pennies when you see them? Be honest! Or do you snub them?
First of all a penny represents money. That is money, honey! Who wants to turn down money? That is literally like money dropping out of the sky for you. If you snub it you are saying to the universe “I don’t need money.” Money is a symbol of prosperity and abundance. We don’t snub our backs to that.
The second reason we pick up lucky pennies: If you look closely at a penny you will see the words “In God We Trust.” Translation, In Life We Trust. In other words, I am confident. Phrased differently, I am goodness, I am love.
Finally, the third reason to pick up a lucky penny is that pennies are made out of copper, and copper is one of the oldest metals used by human beings. It was thought to protect people from evil and attract love to you. Do you want to attract more love in your life? Pick up a lucky pennies, and not just lucky pennies but all of those little signs, all those little specks of sparkle dust that fall your way. Don’t snub them, pick them up. Those are for you!
People who don’t believe any of this and feel all bitter and crusty, “That’s just hogwash!” Well, you’re going to remain bitter and crusty, if you believe that. If you believe that’s just old wive's tales, “There’s no such thing as lucky pennies; there’s no such thing as that,” Well, there won’t be for you! Because you ain’t picking em’ up, and you ain’t buying it. But if you look at those as precious gifts that are for you in your life, your eyes are open to miracles, and your heart is. Miracles will come your way.
When you pick up lucky penny it’s a symbol. In my home we have a specific piggy bank for lucky pennies and lucky coins. And any time we drop one in we make a wish. Who wants to miss an opportunity to make a wish? Only old scrooges! We are not crusty scrooges. We are miracle makers, and those pennies are for you, baby!
