For the past 30 years I have been flying across my country to come to this particular beach, every single year.
Nature is there for you no matter what’s happening in your life. No matter what kind of a ride your emotions are on. No matter what your worries are. No matter what challenges you face. No matter what joys you are celebrating.
Nature is your friend. Nature is rock solid. Nature is one of God’s gifts to keep you constant and grounded in this life.
These aren’t the same exact shells I’ve seen for the past 30 years, but they might as well be. They look like the same shells. When you look in the mirror you might not see the same person you were 30 years ago yet it is exactly the same person. Nothing new can happen without accepting what is. When you take stock of your life, when you take stock of yourself, something new can enter when you accept what is and what has been, when you allow yourself to feel any loss or disappointment from the past or from who you are.
Suffering occurs when we judge life when we judge it for being right, wrong, good or bad. When we accept life as is, we are empowered to make our own experience. When we judge our own feelings, that’s right or wrong - good or bad, we are enslaved. We are slaves to our thoughts and our judgments. God doesn’t judge. The creator does not judge. The creator simply exists and loves. To love means to continue to exist.
